Barnwood, Incorporated
is setting the standard for environmentally responsible
building. Carefully dismantling old barns – some
dating back as far as the late 1800s – throughout the
Pacific Northwest, Barnwood, Incorporated is dedicated to
bridging the past and future by preserving the legacies of
these timeless structures.
In the past, old barns were
destroyed and burned, today we are meticulously salvaging these
old structures. The barnwood is being used for custom framing
materials, flooring, cabinetry, furniture, doors,
interior/exterior trim and siding.
Our
unparalleled vision is a major key to the
process, as it takes a great deal of skill to
analyze the barnwood and determine how and where it can be
used, with as little waste as possible. Along with our
staff at Barnwood’s Bend, Oregon facility, the beautiful
wood of yesteryear is being salvaged and dramatically reused,
all the while preserving the integrity of today’s
forests.
